Collecting Employment from the State

As you can tell I haven't posted much here recently. Not since 2007 when I was lucky enough to see my situation turn around, get hired doing a cushy dream job and quit the game of full time job hunting. I joined society as a gainfully employed worker and didn't share my joy here on the blog. I joined the company blog and blogged my heart out. 

Now the tables are turned. Am I just a number now? 23, 42, 64? Dang layoffs.  I was gainfully employed for the last year and three months, until I finished my breakfast Thursday morning and was handed my last paycheck without any forewarning. The economic worst has happened and I am back to square one, back to playing this job hunting game. 

Here I am...I'm back to spinning the wheel of fortune and asking myself the $64,000 questions. It's back to jumping through hoops in hopes of winning that fabulouse prize package of actual employment. I'll be using the blog to vent my frustrations at playing this game and helping me keep track of whatever a can find in thsi economy to actually apply for...
